Free IT courses in India: how to learn without wasting money
You can start IT learning free with structured resources, but you need projects, consistency, and a clear role target.
Free courses work when you follow a roadmap
The internet has enough free content to start almost any IT career. The problem is not availability. The problem is sequence. Beginners jump from HTML to Python to cybersecurity to AI without finishing one path. That creates confusion and self-doubt.
A roadmap gives you order. For web development, start with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Git, React, APIs, Node, databases, and deployment. For analytics, start with Excel, SQL, statistics, Power BI, and business case studies.
Best free learning sources
Use YouTube for explanations, official documentation for accuracy, freeCodeCamp for structured practice, Microsoft Learn for Power BI and cloud, Google Skillshop for ads and analytics, and Kaggle for data practice. Do not collect resources forever. Pick one path and finish projects.
If English is difficult, choose bilingual creators, but keep learning the industry keywords in English because interviews and job descriptions use those terms.

Projects matter more than course hours
A recruiter does not know whether you watched 80 hours of video. They can see whether you built a dashboard, website, API, campaign report, or automation. Every course should end with a project that can be shown publicly.
Create a GitHub profile for code, a Notion or Google Drive portfolio for analytics and marketing, and a simple LinkedIn post explaining each project.
When to pay for a course
Pay only when you know the role you want and the paid course gives structure, mentorship, feedback, placement support, or accountability. Latecomers AI can help you decide the role before you spend money.
